Social Healing

Social healing plays a crucial role for MCDATSIC in supporting First Nation families. It provides essential services like Semi-Independent Living Services (SILS), Family Advocacy Work, Justice support, Family Scheduled Contact, and Child Safety Referrals. These services aim to empower families by providing them with the necessary support and resources to navigate challenges, strengthen familial bonds, and ensure the safety and well-being of children, and their families. By addressing the underlying issues and providing culturally sensitive care, social healing initiatives contribute significantly to the overall well-being and resilience of First Nation communities.

All our services across MCDATSIC are there to support this mission. Our vision for strong familes, and a safe, healed mob.

We support all First Nations families around Australia who are in need of advocacy, understanding and care. We do this through services, connection to country and First Nation focused programs.
